MiniCo Insurance Agency Receives Awards

.In recent months, MiniCo Insurance Agency received recognition from two very different sources.

The readers of Inside Self-Storage magazine, a national trade publication for the self-storage industry, selected MiniCo as a Best of Business winner in the category of best commercial insurance for the fifth consecutive year. The magazine’s Best of Business reader survey invites self-storage industry professionals to elect their choice of best businesses in 40 categories.

In addition, MiniCo received an Insurance Standard of Excellence award in the 2016 WebAward competition as selected by the Web Marketing Association. The company’s winning entry was its corporate website, www.minico.com, which was extensively redesigned in December 2015. The Web Marketing Association was founded in 1997 to help set a high standard for Internet marketing and corporate web development.

At the self-storage industry’s most recent national conference, industry professionals predicted that 2017 will see a continued upswing in new facility development with the addition of over 800 operations across the United States. Metrics such as customer demand and rents also continue to trend positively.

Previously an agribusiness program underwriter in MiniCo’s Denver office, she has now joined the self-storage program team in our Phoenix headquarters. Prior to joining MiniCo, Chris held positions at QBE and National Farmers Union Insurance.
