Emergency Claims Outside of Business Hours

California: Contact SAMS & Associates at (918) 928-7267 and identify the loss as being under GAI Agribusiness policy.

All Other States: Contact Crawford & Company at (866) 354-0148 and refer to program #014211 Agribusiness; or contact Cunningham Lindsey – USA at (800) 621-5410 and identify the loss as being under GAI Agribusiness policy.

When calling any of these emergency call centers to report a loss, you will need to provide the insured name, applicable policy number, specific site location, loss information, and the telephone number where the policyholder can be reached.

Once reported to any of these vendors, the response will be similar. An experienced adjuster will call the policyholder to get detailed first-hand information as to the event and provide direction/information needed for loss mitigation, emergency services, temporary housing, etc. If the event warrants, a local field adjuster will be dispatched to the loss site. The vendor will report the loss to Great American on the next business day for the claim to be set up and also assign the claim to internal claim staff.

QBE Claims

For all QBE claims (Clarendon America Insurance Company, Praetorian Specialty Insurance Company, QBE Specialty Insurance Company, and Praetorian Insurance Company), the following applies:

  • QBE handles all prior and new claims. MiniCo Insurance (previously NIF Claims Services and HDR Insurance Services) has transferred all contractor claims to QBE.
  • Forward all loss notices and other documents related to claims directly to QBELossRuns@enstargroup.com.
  • QBE will send a letter to the insured, broker, and claimant, advising them of the adjuster handling the claim file.

For expedited service on all new QBE claim inquiries, call 800-362-5448 and follow the prompts provided. To speak to someone directly regarding an existing claim, enter extension 603325. Be sure to mention that you have an existing MiniCo Insurance (or NIF or HDR) claim.

Collectibles claims are handled directly by our partner AXA XL.

Our Claims Handling Philosophy

We believe that every policyholder is entitled to the highest standards of claim resolution. AXA XL claims professionals are recognized leaders in the field of adjusting art and collectibles losses. They work with insureds to resolve claims expeditiously and fairly. In addition to utilizing in-house art expertise, the AXA XL claims department collaborates with leading appraisers and conservators to provide creative solutions to difficult and unusual losses.

Submitting a Claim

The insured should notify their agent of a loss as soon as possible. This will help expedite the claims process and minimize the possibility of further damage to the object. After the agent submits the loss to the AXA XL claims department, an adjuster will contact the insured via telephone to begin gathering all relevant documentation. Once the relevant documents have been received and reviewed, the adjuster will work with the insured to settle the claim on mutually agreeable terms.
